Thanks for the welcome Ron.  I have read the Tricks and Tips section paying particular attention to your post on the Tripp Lite Inverter/Charger.  I am still trying to understand the coach electrical system and will likely have questions specific to the Tripp Lite system.  I will ask for help for sure!

We are Dave and Kristina (and our sm dog, Stewie).  We recently purchased our first RV and decided to go with Phoenix Cruiser after much research.  It is winterized in our driveway in Penna. right now and we are very excited to get on the road as soon as the weather breaks. 
This forum has been very helpful in understanding our PC and we look forward to the future traveling the roads and highways of this huge country. 

Welcome Dave, Kristina and Stewie,  seems like there are quite a few PC owners in PA.  y'all need to drive south and get rid of all that "winterizing".  Happy travels to you.

Everyone in the MD, VA, DC, DE, PA area, or anywhere else for that matter, that will be in or around Frederick Maryland on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 - You are invited to an "After the Holidays" open house at our son's house in Frederick Maryland from 3pm until whenever. We will put out a bunch of food and beverages and miscellaneous people will wander through, hang out, eat, drink, and be merry. There will be no gift giving, no caroling, no family drama (my standing rule of "play nice or go home" has worked well over the years). Just people meeting people.

We do not require RSVP's but you'll need to send me a personal message to get the address as I don't want to post it publicly AND it gives us a ballpark headcount for planning purposes. This is a totally relaxed affair. Our son loves to cook food and hang out with people. We want to touch base with people that are gone or busy over the holidays. I'm posting this here because we'd love to see all our fellow Phoenix owners that we've met or have yet to meet (if we haven't met you and you're a cranky person, please note the "play nice or go home" rule stated above).

My name is Tony Graupp & my wife's name is Bonnie....
Currently we don't own a PC, but it is in our plans to purchase a 2551 or 2552....
We're not new to the RV & camping world, as we had owned a 32' Holiday Rambler TT for 14 years, and towed it to Alaska, the maritime provinces, and to Florida on may occasions ...
I chose the 'handle' Crazyg, because of all the crazy things owning a camper RV affords you to do....On 2 separate occasions we sold our furnished house right out from under us, and had to full time for  a year or year & 1/2 each time while we decided to either buy or build a house....
We settled in the WNC mountains currently, and are looking to replace  the TT camper...
The last crazy thing we did, was to sell our camper right out from underneath us, while were in the middle of a 10 week trip to Florida....Because of my age [late 70's], I get tired of driving after a couple of hours, and my wife Bonnie refused to drive the big rig stretched out 50', and weighing nearly 19,000#.....So I gave her an ultimatum...you either drive it or we sell it.....WELL!!!! The next thing she said was go ahead....SOO!!! I went to WalMart, bought a
'For Sale' sign, put our phone number on it, and taped to the Camper....
Low and behold, 3 or 4 people passing thru the camp sites saw it, and it only takes one buyer...5 weeks into our sojourn, I watched as my beautiful camper was being towed away by
some total stranger.....I can still remember it vividly...
As a side note, do you realize how hard it is to sell any RV ???? Literally thousands available...
SO, Now, you want to call me Crazy or what ??? ..
I've spent a lot of time on the internet, looking at different models, and I think I've narrowed down to the PC....Most importantly, something my wife can drive....We checked on a class A diesel....and she just flat out NO!!...I currently have a diesel Excursion, that I towed the TT with, and she feels that the E-450 wouldn't be that much worse to drive....
So, now it's just a matter of getting our finances together, and finding the exact unit that suites our needs....

Your depth of RV'ing experience, not to mention an obvious bent toward viewing things with a sense of humor, will be a welcome addition here, I'm sure.

We're Claudia and Mack Consigny and happy owners of a used but new to us 2014  2910D.


I want to say thank you to all of you for your posts. They convinced us that the Phoenix cruiser was the way for us. We are first time rvers, but since October we have been having the most wonderful time in our cruiser. Mack and I were in the middle of  planning a trip to Elkhart when two one year old cruisers were advertised on the internet. Only one replied to our inquiry so after an outside  inspection for us in Atlanta, Mack and I flew out and brought Late-duh home to California. We've had one long weekend camping near by and then a ten day Christmas trip to Tucson to spend the holiday with family.

We're still working out some kinks (mostly broken latches and what and how much to bring),but are totally hooked and hope to spend at least a year full timing in the future.

Thank you again for all of your help. I've admired you from afar and look forward to being a part of such a great  group of people.

Welcome and congrats on your 2910! Our 3rd PC is a 2013 2910 with a single slide and WE LOVE IT!! We wanted twin beds, so the Factory built a model with the twins for us. We also did some other modifications that worked out very well. We posted pics of our unit-check them out.

We spend about 3-4 monthes in the summer away from Florida (had enough of hurricanes) and the rig is very comfortable for that amount of time.

Hello from John and Carol in the Sierra foothills. We are retired and have been RVing for 10 years. We will take possession of a 2014 PC 2552 in Feburary. Our favorite places to camp are the coast and the forest so we are having the factory install a solar panel so we can dry camp for extended periods without using the generator. Sometime in the future are planning to take the PC to Alaska.

Welcome Carol & John--February is coming up so fast!  Good luck in picking up your new rig and welcome to the PC family.  Lots of really knowledgable people here on the forum, in addition to the PC crew, to help with any questions.  Safe travels!
