Hi Tim,

No, Earl was not anxious to take our 5th wheel in trade as he said he had too many in stock at the time although it was a 2011.  We found the 2350 in Kansas and it was a consignment placed with that RV dealer.

We actually received more from the trade considering the tax advantage than selling the 5th wheel outright.  Having sold a previous 5th wheel, which took months, we were not prepared to wait for this one to sell.  Placing adds on RV Trader, newspapers, Craig's List, etc.; to do that again was not something we wanted to do again.  Also saving $15k with an almost new one compared to a new build was as added bonus.  It worked for us.

We're dave and betty, we plan to buy a 2552 at the fort myers rv show.  We've been full time for 17 years and we've decided to settle down, a little.  We ordered a 5th wheel to replace the 40 foot tiffin bus we live in now.  This spring we will add a Phoenix cruiser to the stable for summer time fun on the road.  We started rving in 1984 in a volkswagen pop top Westfalia and went to class C in a Lazy Daze and on up the chain.
     We're excited about the change in life style and more than a little scared at the same time.  We enjoy the forum and it has helped us decide on which rv to buy.  We visited the factory in May, while at a rally in
Goshen and were impressed with it all.  Our home base is in Naples, Fl.  We look forward to chatting with you all on the forum.

Welcome Dave and Betty and congrats. You made the right decision. We have had 3 PCs (2350 Sprinter, 2551 and now a 2910, 1 slide). We live in Punta Gorda FL. If you have any questions or would like to take a look at our unit, don't hesitate to PM us.

We also plan to be at WP Franklin COE in January (20, 21 and 22). Barry and Sue will be there at that time as well so come on down!!!

Hi Everyone,
   We’re Sharon and David and we just took delivery of a new to us 2008 2551 (our first motor home) on November 13th.  We had been looking at Class C and B+ coaches and discovered the PC brand.  Reading this Forum and having visited the factory in July sealed the deal.  We looked at several 2350’s before settling on the 2551 floor plan.
   We will primarily be using the motor home while attending regional and national soaring (gliding) events across the country. 
   I have been spending hours reading posts on the Forum learning all I can about PC’s paying particular attention to posts about motor home systems.  It been fun to get to know everyone and I know that I will have many questions and will use the Forum to get answers.

Oops, I thought you lived east of Baltimore but I was wrong again.

We live in Glenwood, just of half way from Frederick to Baltimore. We do a lot of our shopping and have many friends that live in Frederick. My wife and I are both retired and have lots of free time if you want to get together some time.

Thanks for the welcome Ron.  I have read the Tricks and Tips section paying particular attention to your post on the Tripp Lite Inverter/Charger.  I am still trying to understand the coach electrical system and will likely have questions specific to the Tripp Lite system.  I will ask for help for sure!
