Roof Sealant

Has anyone used Dicor Fiberglass RV Roof Coating on their roof?  If not are there any other recommendations?

Has the paint come off your roof or are you making it look nice?  Paint would be a good choice. Of course that is my opinion only.

The roof is not painted. It is thin fiberglass sheet. All I do is keep it clean.

Here is a couple pictures of my roof after it was sealed with Flex-Armor. I have 0 leaks from the roof and guaranteed for life to never leak. This coating is 1/4 inch thick and tuff as nails. It is sprayed on hot and dries in roughly 6 seconds. They removed the vents, old caulk, A/C's etc.  Then they sprayed the roof and also added some aluminum uni-strut to mount my solar panels. I can't say enough about this coating.  The company in Sarasota FL. that installed this on my PC was also installing it on the city buses and school buses.

This looks awesome! How does it hold up to dirt afterward? Do you mind saying how much it costs?

It ran around $4500, but you never have to caulk or worry about a leak from the roof ever. It also prevents most branch strikes from doing any roof damage as well.  That's with in reason, if a tree falls on it obviously you may have some issues. The coating comes down over the the front and rear caps also down over the seam on the sides. I park my PC next to my workshop outside and don't worry about roof leaks. I think it was worth every dollar spent on it.

For some reason I thought it was about that much.

But do you think it keeps cleaner than the original? Like does dirt stick to it?

It can get dirty, but it is easily cleaned.  Soap and water and it is as good as new.

I used it on my 2005 year, 2100 model. My fiberglass roof was showing strands of raw fiberglass. I fully cleaned the roof and let it dry, then taped off no paint areas. I used a 1/4" smooth surface roller for the large areas and a paintbrush on the small arears. I used less than 1 gallon of the paint. I did not prime, but Ithe instructions recommend it.It has been 2 years and it still looks great with no peeling. The roof is easier to clean and stays clean longer.
