Maxair Vent Cover(s)

I bought some vent covers for the 2 vents on my .  Problem I saw when I go up there is space to put them.  It was summer and couldn't stay on roof very long in Nevada.  Returned them and never bought anymore.   Have been trying to see picture(s) of PC's that have installed covers.

I did the same using Fantastic Ultra Breeze (which those picts look like) except in the "smoke" color to block overhead lights in campground or Walmart.  They work GREAT!

You Sir, are CORRECT.  I did not note that the post referred to Maxair vent covers.   We looked at the Maxair, but I thought the back of this model blocks rain MUCH better.   And torrential rain is the biggest 'threat' we get here.

I got the white to help reject heat.  Never considered the parking lot light idea, though. Good thinking.

I probably should not have specified a particular brand vent cover.  I am open to any and all covers.

Volkemon,   What is the brand name of the covers?   Also it looks like the bathroom vent cover may overlap the shower skylight.  Did you use the same cover for both?

Sorry for the late reply.  Donc13 nailed it before.  ''Fan-Tastic Vent U1500WH Ultra Breeze Vent Cover - White''  is what the Amazon record says, $119.98 for two. November 2017.  They have held up well. The 'waffle' grid style seems to stop a lot more water than the 'slit' style. Florida issue. 

The rear cover does go over the sealant on the back skylight slightly, if I remember right.  The way the cover mounts, there is a ~1/4 gap to the roof, so the sealant layer isnt an issue.

Thanks.  While I was up there, I also changed the a/c cover.  It was shot.  Am currently working on a rain gutter extension on the drivers side by the awning.  I am making it myself.  I will be changing the flooring in the next month or so.  Going to use lifeproof silver oak.

Volkemon,  A little off the subject of vent covers, but what size carriage bolts did you use to replace gen/other bolts?  I didn't realize how close in color the sterling oak is to the carpet.   Gotta do 2 bedrooms in the sticks & bricks 1st-so the boss says.  Thanks to all for the great ideas and tips.

ooOOoooooh thats a good one.  I wanna say I used 3/8 x 4 inches.  The floor was ~ 2 3/4" thick I do believe. I put extras on the right side to mount underfloor stuff with later. I will go under tomorrow and double check.

Carpet was a no-go for Mrs V so none remains. Throw rugs dont count. 

OK, the four holes formerly for the chair remained open on the bottom, and a depth check shows it 2 1/2 inches floor thickness.

My 2006 model 2350 floor appears to be 3/4 plywood, 1 1/2 inch foam, and 1/4 inch corrugated black plastic sheeting. (top to bottom)

I did use 3/8 x 4" carriage bolts for the right side, looks like similar for the LP Tank and genset mounting.

This is the PC floor sandwich.  I don't know material thicknesses.

I'd guess 2" steel tubing and insulation, 3/4" plywood floor....
