A 2008 that has spent 100% of it's time outdoors in the elements, will naturally experience significant wear and tear on exterior components.  We bought our 2007 2350 PICTURES HERE brand new in June of 2007, but it is always stored indoors when at home, so it remains extremely well preserved.

All the documentation we received with the rig when new included all paperwork from everything they installed.  What we did NOT get were schematics of the wiring and plumbing.  The owners manual issued on RV operations was a simply copy of a copy x20 that was hard to make out and covered only generic operations that applied across every model.  I found it to be useless, even to me whom this was our first self contained motorhome.

Phoenix USA is a very small company with minimal staff.  If they supplied detailed documentation and schematics, they would have more employees in their documentation department, than employees building Phoenix Cruisers.

Any parts you need, I advise to take one picture of each needed item, then email your written list along with associated low-pixel pictures to Phoenix.  They are very busy right now so be patient on getting a response.  Keep your pictures low-pixel as not to make a heavy email file.  Also rename each picture to it's name or purpose.  Do you best to keep it simple for them.  Help them help you.

Glad you're here, and we look forward to hearing from you.  It's always great to get fresh input from experienced RV'ers.  As Ron says, there are, unfortunately, no electrical or plumbing schematics from Phoenix for their units; no comprehensive parts lists either--although there are a few items listed on the "Owner's Resource" tab of the website.  On the same tab, you can also access the current Owner's Manual, along with manuals for several currently used components, but the Phoenix manual (updated last year) is pretty general in nature.

You're correct that there is a lot of information compiled and archived on this forum from many years of input, questions, and answers.  The forum search tool is your friend, and if you put in specific terms (like many search tools, put quotation marks around the term or phrase to get only exact matches), you can frequently access a number of discussions on the issue you're interested in.  Don't hesitate to post fresh questions on here as well!

Hey Cousin Rawb! Check that your  propane leak detector turns on when you switch on the 12v dc coach power. The detector has a finite service life and is designed to sound a constant and annoying alarm when it’s time to replace it.  On mine a previous owner had cut the + wire on the back to silence it instead,  and I missed that when I did my pre-purchase inspection. The newer rigs have a combination propane and carbon monoxide alarm.

I have been lurking for over a year.  Actually put a deposit down on different new C.  After delays and price increases the bloom was off that rose.  Got a notification from RVTrader that a 2019 stretched 2552 with 20000 miles and Liquid Spring was available from the original owner that custom ordered it and waited for a year.   The money saved will buy a lot of gas for the thirsty V10.

We (Sherry and Greg) live in Western AR and there are plenty of great camping spots within a daydrive.  We really like COE campgrounds and will pull a trailer with kayaks, and either dirt bikes and/or bikes.  Some longer trips are also anticipated.

We will pick it up later in the week and I look forward to being active on the forum.  Much to learn and a few mods to plan out with help.

Well I go out over my skis on this one!  Went with check in hand to pick up unit and discovered slide damage that made me to uncomfortable to to continue with the purchase. Slide had been opened with something caught between leading edge of frame slide and wall.  Damage to inside floor, slide slightly out of level, and caulk seals broken on outside.

Back on the hunt for a 2552!

we purchased a 2013, 3100 used in Texas about a month ago and drove it home to Yuma, Arz.  after doing some needed maintance, like rebuilding the front end, 6 new tires, new masserator system , repair ladder, new shocks, and begin removing the Diamond Shield on the front of the coach. really hot and gas is really high sooooo, it sets under our cover for now.  we sold our 43ft Grand Tour tag axle so this is quite a difference to say the least, but my wife is very comfortable driving it unlike the bus. i think we made a good decision. Well i started on removing the DSshield and found that a plastic chisel and contractors solvent will do the job, altho slow process, the paint is saved, hood and front fenders done, but the cap on the top is also cracked, mold 00and bugs are stuck in the shield, it will be a pain but i will get it done, quoted 2700.dlls for a shop to do it

My name is Willy. I am in south west Virginia. I currently have a 40 foot fifth wheel camper. That makes it pretty hard to stop at some places. I have been looking at class b camper vans but recently came across the Phoenix Cruiser. I would love to get rid of everything and just travel. I travel solo and have been reading through the forum while I waited to get approval to access the forum.

Welcome to the Phoenix forum.

If traveling solo and want to drive without towing another vehicle, model 2100 is definitely going to be your best option, adjusting to the lack of a permanent bed.  Maybe you could leave the dinette setup as a permanent bed for easy day napping.  I am "not into slide-outs" so I will say that model 2100 without a slide-out (though very hard to find one for sale) would be real sweet for a person travelling alone.  Make sure your height works with a dinette conversion.  The dinette-bed PICTURES HERE in our no-slide 2350 is exactly the length of my height at 5'-11".  I slept on it when sick during a trip to protect my wife from getting sick.  I found sleeping on the dinette extremely comfortable.  Of coarse it's a lot about the cushions you have.

Model 2100 and 2350 will have more handling issues than longer PC models, but it can be dealt with without breaking the bank.  If buying a used one, maybe you will get lucky and a previous owner will have addressed that for you.

The Phoenix Cruiser slideout is a foot shallower than most,  so it’s not in the way if you want to stealth camp. Sometime around 2014-2015 the old style sofa bed in the 2350 became dual memory foam recliners, which would be really nice for full time travel with a permanent corner bed and mattress in the back. There’s a ton of storage under the bed and an exterior access door. At 24 feet the 2350 fits into most small campsites in the national and state parks. The slightly shorter 2100 fits in driveways and parking spaces if that’s important. Both models have big refrigerators and tanks.  The 2350 went out of production this year. All  2016 and older PC slideout  models have the bulletproof Liftco mechanism. A little spray lube once a year keeps the screw drives running smoothly.

A bed that had to be made up every time probably would not be too bad. Looking at the 2100 trying to cook in the stairwell would not work for me. I sleep in a queen size bed now and have a queen size bed in my rv. I am probably going to need the longer bed. I think I read in a post from someone that was taller that they got a 2900 for the queen size bed so their feet didn’t hang off the bed. I have seen a 2004 2900 for sale that I am interested in. There was a 2016 3100 not to far away that I went and looked at. It was the first PC that I had seen. I don’t remember the camper shaking when the salesman or I walked around in it. The headroom seemed fine, I don’t remember having to duck. I didn’t ask to drive it because I wasn’t really interested in that model. I cranked it up and it was quite.

Ron, I think I read you have some of the older brochures. I would really like to get some of these. There is a 2004 brochure on the Phoenix Cruiser Facebook page but it doesn’t show a 2900.

I believe I have every brochure Phoenix had, but years were skipped over.  2004 longest model measures 25'-11".  Are you certain that is a 2004 model year?  It could be a 2005 model year, built on a 2004 E450 chassis.

BTW: I thought model 2100 and 2400 included a floor board to cover the stairwell so you could stand on a flat floor while cooking.

Ii is sort of strange about the 2004 2900. It is listed on nada, but only in a diesel. It is not until 2006 that the gas model is listed. I sent a message to the factory to ask about it. I sent the vin to Tina and now I'm waiting for a reply.

I received this back from Tina about the step well -

Regarding the rear kitchen, there is not currently a floor cover. The step well is small and closed to the door, so it does not seem have a large impact on the kitchen area for most. ..Or at least we have not received that feedback  at the plant.

I think I read about someone talking about the step well. I have not seen one in person and the person who posted might not have either.
