Just got a new PC, a 2351D.  Really liked fact that it is a smaller easy to drive RV but still has comfortable queen sized bed, functional bathroom/shower and kitchen. Have had a couple of Winnebagos, so its been pretty easy to figure things out for this one. Love the build quality, and the many technology updates over our previous rigs. This one is small enough (ca. 25') to fit in national park and forest service campgrounds, so we are excited to be able to use in shoulder seasons as well as summer, and be able to experiment more with dry camping and having a lot more options for camping than we did before. We did our first test with a 1000 mile trip from dealer Ito home, including dry camping in Grand Canyon National park (which went perfectly). Also love how easy it is to drive compared to our Winni Vista (small class A).  Looking forward to learning more about  what modifications and things other people have learned about their rigs.

Welcome  to the forum---and CONGRATULATIONS  on your new 2351D!!

That's a great model and I understand it has turned into the second best-selling selection in the whole Phoenix line!  I ended up buying a 2552 almost 3 years ago now, but Phoenix had just finished the 2351D prototype when I visited the factory and looked at them and I came very close to buying that very first unit they made.  They said at the time that they expected it to turn into one of their best sellers, and it certainly has.

Sounds like you have previous RV experience, so hope you will be a frequent poster on the forum to share some of that knowledge!

All the best,      Mike

Welcome palaback!

You sound like Irene and me.  We try our best to utilize the national park system (and free overnight places) so our smaller PC-2350 is very friendly for that along with the needs for general boondocking.

You are in the right place for seeking ideas for small changes/improvements.  Our PC-2350 is now 14.5 years old so I've had a lot of ideas and time for minor changes and improvements.  Some of what I did no longer applies to a new PC, but some still does.  I have tried to document with pictures, on this forum my changes of significance.  CLICK HERE for my list of posted articles.

Hello from a couple of new members!

My husband and I have been full-timing in a Class A for over 6 years after extensive travel in a Class C for 13 years.  For various reasons, we are now looking to downsize.  We have just started doing our research, but we are already quite interested in and impressed by the Phoenix Cruiser, specifically the 2910D and the 2910T.  I know as we continue our research we will have lots of questions for you all, but I just have to start off with the one that we feel is the most important one for us as it will determine the path we take forward in choosing a new motorhome:  can someone who has either a 2910D or a 2910T please tell us what your OCCC is and what options you have?

Many thanks for your help now and in the future,
Art and Barbara

We just realized that we probably should have posted our question about OCCC to a different thread, that this is a thread specifically for introducing ourselves.  We're sorry!   :-[

Welcome Art and Barbara!!

Always glad to see such experienced RV'rs join the forum!  I know you will have a lot to contribute, so I hope we see your input often.

As a 2552 owner, I'm sorry I can't help with your OCCC question, but I'll bet some of our 2910 owners will help out.

Don't worry about the thread, this forum is pretty informal and we're glad to get input or questions wherever they are posted!

All the best,      Mike

We had a used 2017 2910D for about 6 months in 2019 as a downsize from or 42 ft diesel pusher.. We bought the 2910 sight unseen from PPL Consignment in Texas and trusted the online floor plans. The "D" means double slide and the "T" means triple slide. We soon discovered the inside arrangement did not work for us and we traded it in for an almost-new 2019 3100 in March 2020 at the factory. The 2910D had a sideways queen bed in the rear with almost no space at the sides of the bed. Which meant we "seniors" had to crawl up into the bed. Our previous DP had an island bed with space on each side.
Our 2910D also had the Euro chairs with a small pullup/pullout table. The Euro chairs were not comfortable (for us..we know they work for other folks) and the table was awkward to manhandle and pretty small. The previous owner had actually fabricated a larger add-on table top to increase the space. Which meant something else to store when traveling. The manual mechanism for the recliners was also hard to use but our 2019 recliners work very easy so the 2910D might just have needed some TLC.

We love our 3100 - it is actually the same length as a 2910. The twin beds (with electric option) are very comfy and the one large slide provides plenty of room for us. The dinette is more useful than a pullout table.

Probably TMI. And you probably know there are a couple units on the Forum for sale. You could also check with the factory occasionally - that is how we found our 2019.

Hello. I'm Lori & I just purchased a used 2016 2350S.   I've been an RV'r for over 20 years. My husband & I owned everything from a TT, a 5-r, a gas motorhome & then a diesel motorhome.  After my husband passed away in 2020, I sold our big diesel coach & took some time to decide my next move.   I missed RV'ing and a sweet 2350S came up for sale within a few hours drive.  It's a perfect size just for me.  I'm excited to be getting on the road again, albeit solo.  Right now, I'm sorting through, trying to figure out what stuff I can keep from my 42ft DP that'll fit in this little PC.  I've got 17 big 28 gallon containers to go through.

I hope to meet you all down the road.

Blessings.

Wow!!  Lori!

Great looking rig!  We're certainly glad to have you on the forum!  Sounds like you bring a lot of experience, so we'll look forward to your advice on a host of issues.  In the meanwhile, if there are any questions on the PC, folks here would be happy to help.  Don't envy your job of sorting through 17 containers of stuff though--downsizing can be a challenge!

Welcome, and all the best.....     Mike

Thank you for the welcomes.   I may have RV'd for 20 years, but not so sure my advice is sound.  Seems I learn something new almost every day, even for stuff I thought I already knew.

Blessings.

Greetings all!   We just downsized to a 2008 2551 from our 40'DP Horizon.  To be honest, from what I had heard and read, I was expecting the fit, finish, and construction to be much better than our 2004 Itasca.  I realize I'm the 4th owner, and I discount that use, but (again to be honest) I was a bit underwhealmed.  But it was almost exactly what I had been looking for a year, and so I bought it 1500 miles away with only a few pictures.  It was a PC after all, so how bad can it be?  Not that bad, I'm happy with my purchase and got it for a steal.  I don't have the original owners manual and can't find a parts list to order the missing/damaged pieces/parts.  Of course I printed up the missing vendor manuals that I needed from the interwebs, but I still lack plumbing and electrical schematics.  I did all the maintenance on the DP and plan to do all coach related work on this one, but leave the chassis work to Ford.  I have retired 3 times now and still have a part time job.  My bones say quit, but my mind is still writing those 30-something checks.  More honeydo's and grampa hacks than paper can handle, but I press on because I can hop in my PC and leave to the pastoral trout streams.  Can't really do that in a 40'er.  I look forward to plagiarizing all your great ideas - and as payment I'll post pictures and some tricks/hints.

TLDR: Glad to be here.  I am very handy and travel mostly solo.  :)(:
