Just for fun.  If money was not an object what Phoenix Cruiser would you choose?

2100,2350,2400,2551,2552,2700,2900,2910,2950,3100?

p.s.  @ Barry. How do you make the poll list like you did with the camping activites?

I currently have a 2551 and would probably go for a 2552 if I were buying a new one.  I don't really want anything larger, I LOVE the two twin beds for sleeping comfort, and the extra chair in the 2552 would be nice to have.  I would buy it with the sofa option in the slide rather than a dinette.  To me the 2552 looks like the best current offering.

Just got back from a mini "vacation" at Big Cedar after spending a couple of weeks in the 2700 in Colorado.  Not once in Colorado did I have to call security over the kids running back and forth on the next floor (my ceiling) from 2pm to mid-night or later.

Over all, the accommodations of both in my mind were comparable as to fit, finish, and comfort, and much much less in the noise department.

Big Cedar's selling point is: it ain't a motel, okay, but, I have never had that experience in a motel either.

I would never do Big Cedar again on a bet or otherwise.  Fortunately the 4 days was a gift and someone else's dime.

I would re-do a 2700 in a heartbeat.  But we might have to discuss front TV placement.

We have a 2552 on order to replace our 2350. Love the size of the 2350 but am willing to go the extra length for the better sleeping arrangements and lower toilet. Overall I don't think you can go wrong with any one of the PCs. Whatever works for you is the right one.

We were 1st time buyers when we acquired our used 2551 in Mechanicsburg, PA last yr.  We love the majority of it but are coveting the newer yr models, especially the 2552 for the technological upgrades as well as the extra chair.

Having had a 2350/Sofa and a 2551/Sofa before our current 2552/Dinette, the 2552/Dinette is perfect for just the 2 of us. 2o2 :)(: heartshower

Given personal circumstance with a garage length limit, our 2350 is ideal.

If my garage could handle the length, and I was financially able to, I would request something semi-custom.

- model 2950 made to the length of a 3100, from 29'-8" to 30'-6", the extra 10" all for the bedroom
- double or queen bed in place of twins, either walk-around or placed across the rear wall sideways
- no slideouts
- dinette to maintain two bench seats to accomodate four people, but made extremely comfortable as follows
   1) standard automobile style bench seats & backrests, similar to what is used for the rear bench seat in conversion vans
   2) removable head restraints, so they don't get in the way when converting it into a bed
   3) standard automotive shoulder/lap belt restraints
   4) maintain wooden bench configuration for cosmetic integration and extra storage
   5) rearward facing seat directly behind the driver seat, does not fold down, because the backrest is smaller to consider the angled wall
   6) the forward facing seat against the fridge, has "zero clearence" fold down action like a conversion van, bridging across to the other seat to make a single bed

I wish I had that dinette in my 2350.  Maybe one day.

Our choice is the 2552 which is great for two. The slide to have 2 comfortable
chairs w/ leg rests & a narrow drink table between them.
Slide tables from under the shirt cabs to hold the morning coffee with TV news
also a must.
Also as I'm getting too old to be diging blocks out from the mud, levelers
are a must on our next PC.

I'm getting too old to be diging blocks out from the mud, levelers are a must on our next PC.
For me that may be 15 years away.  If we still own the PC and the house it fits under, I figure I could still take it in and get levelers installed then.

The long term plan is to one day in a time far away, sell the house and offer a well used free PC2350 to sweeten the deal, done when we are ready for a nursing home, or maybe a condo, or maybe full-timing.  Who knows?

As I'm pushing 83, I'll want to be using those levelers for the next 15 years, Ron.

I have three favorite PC's.  The last one I had, the one I have now and my future one.
