Don. I look forward to hear how you like them.  Not sure but I think they offer custom fit covers as  well. Probably half the cost of the mattress themselves
Joseph,

Yes, the covers are custom also.  They are included in the price I stated.  They are a $69.99 ea so 2 mattresses $140 but that was included in the almost $700.

To Joseph and all,

The mattresses from foam by mail got here a few weeks ago.  They look great.   I laid the one for my side on the floor (to simulate the plywood base in the RV) sheets and blanket and slept on it for the night... Absolutely wonderful!

Patti did the same with hers the next night, she was also very happy with it.   This weekend, we got the RV from storage and replaced the old mattresses.  The comparison between the old and the new is like night and day.

It'll be a few months before we go on a trip to get to use them in real life but I see no reason why they won't be perfect for us.

Don, you be my guinea pig!  😎.   Thank you for the info. Ive been waiting for this! Were both fond of FIRM mattresses.  Where do you rank the firmness?

The 4" base is considered "medium firm" (thicker is firmer) and not "memory" foam.  The top 3" is the 5lb  (weight per cubic foot) true memory foam that is very supportive in that conforms to your body's contours fully. rather than just bending to partially "fit".

Overall, to me, it is very supportive and comfortable and I would rate it a 4 out of 5 for firmness.   The original mattresses I would rate a 2 out of 5.

FWIW:  We slept on our original PC-2350 soft mattress for roughly 10 years.  Being softer made it more difficult to get into and out from our rear corner model 2350 bed.  We purchased our replacement mattress through Walmart's website and cut to shape ourselves DETAILED HERE.  It has two layers, the main portion is 4.5" of firmer foam that is more firm than our original mattress was.  It is topped off with 1.5" of memory foam.  It has been a very affordable replacement that we are very pleased with it's improved comfort and also improved mobility concerning the limited access bed.

Don, does that 7" mattress clear the bottom holding bracket for the window?

If you are interested in trying something different, then take a look at the Froli Sleep System.   I purchased the Froli Travel system for the short queen in our 2910D and could not be more pleased.  I have the Froli Travel System which is a bit lower that the normal Froli star pattern to allow the mattress to slide under the wardrobe cabinet.   I also ordered the queen short folding mattress from RecPro, which is 5 inches high vice the 7 inch high mattress that was on the bed when purchased.   The Froli sleep system is a bit hard to explain, but is used in boats to provide air flow under the mattress to prevent condensation.  It is also installed in some Airstream and Winnebago models.   After 2 spinal fusions, I tried every kind of mattress topper made to make the foam mattress on plywood more comfortable and the only thing that has worked was adding the Froli sleep system to the bed.  Found the Froli system system at a ship supply store on the east coast and the mattress at RecPro with total replacement cost being about $500.
