You "DO" have a testimony worth sharing.  I would love to see your unit and also what it tows.  There are not many Sprinter based PCs out there, so I hope you get a website setup on yours.  Then I'd have a place to direct others to see one...... :lol

Welcome to the Forum! We traded in our 2350 Sprinter in Feb. for a 2551. Still miss the Sprinter!! The negative, for us, was the corner bed. The twins in the 2551 are what we need at this stage in our lives. It seems that the Sprinter is right for you. Enjoy.

We just got our "used" 2010 PC 2350 on the Sprinter chassis in May/June.  After three 5th wheel campers and one other class B+ or C- motor home, I think we finally found a keeper !

Welcome to the Forum! As a previous owner of a Sprinter, if you can deal with the corner bed, it will be a keeper!

We traded our Sprinter, without a slide, for a 2551 without a slide. Loved the Sprinter-hated the bed. The 2551 is more comfortable for long trips. The comfort of the cab in the Sprinter surpasses the Ford.

Your 2010 2350 without slide wouldn't happen to be slate gray full body paint with cherry interior, would it?

Ours is not the slate grey.  Rust Lower Body Paint, with Classic Umber Interior Colors.

So far the corner bed has not been an issue.  We use a foam mattress topper (from Ikea)  which eases the hassle of making a corner bed.  It is "cozy" but we have been getting a good nights sleep so far on a couple short trips.  No long trip scheduled until Sept and beyond.

The ride and handling characteristics of the Sprinter are amazing compared to what we have had before.  One of our previous RVs was a 2004 Gulfstream B Touring Cruiser on an E350.  The ride was just plain terrible, noisy and sometime scary.  By the way, everyone should have to own a Gulfsteam ... ONCE !   :lol   If only for on site repair skills.

If I had it my way, I'd toss out a lot of "fluff" in our PC, keeping things much more basic.  I feel we carry too much stuff which does not have enough daily practical application.  We carry some "just-in-case" stuff too, much of which never gets used at all.  But all that makes the place "home" for my wife.

I guess I too am guilty of "just-in-case" stuff.  I lugged around bags of Lynx Levelers for two weeks, but never used them.  (WH)  So there!

Ron,

We still have the conventional mattress for the corner bed.  Its just when we make the bed, we only tuck the sheets under the topper.  By the way, it was her idea, so it keeps with your theme ... HW = HL !

It is very easy to run around with too much "fluff" in an RV.  We haven't filled the PC yet, and hopefully we won't until we go on a long cross-county this winter.

My "just in case stuff" has been shrunk down to a tool box and two small tupperware containers of  stuff  ... that took awhile.  But the Gulfstream BT was good at teaching me what you really can use for repairs on the road.

Don't feel bad about the levelers if you only carried them for 2 weeks.  I still have my set onboard.  And considering where we will be travelling, I am not ready to unload them yet.   (WH)

Live and learn ...  2o2

UPDATE ... used my leveling blocks in 2 campgrounds last week.  We don't sleep well with our head lower than our feet !

Hello,
I wanted to introduce myself and my husband as proud new owners of a 2012 2551!  We live in Northern CA and were lucky enough to be able to pick the unit up about 4 hours from our home.

We are virgin RV owners  (we have rented many times) so we will be reading the forum and pestering you experts with questions.

Any questions, concerns, we share everything here, not just the great stuff.  But we try real hard to be kind when issues pop up.  Phoenix USA takes really good care of the people who bought their creations, and we appreciate it so very much.  So if something concerns you, this is a good place to start.  Just ask your question.

A number of us have some interesting add-ons and modifications too.  So if you wonder....if only.....just ask.  Maybe someone here has done something about it already.

This forum is a great place to get/give ideas and thoughts about the PC.

We are on our 2nd  newPC in 2 years. We really loved the ride of our 2350 Sprinter. Now we have a 2011 2551. Love the design of the interior-it is very comfortable.

We have asked many questions and received many answers. We plan to make some additions when we get back to our home in Florida.

Hi Bob,
We were able to pick up our RV in San Luis Obisbo.  Craig was going to fly out to pick up a unit the company was buying back.  When we decided we wanted the 2012 2551 Stuart proposed Craig driving it out to pick up the other.  We jumped at the chance and spent 2 nights in Pismo Beach in our "rig".  We were only hooked up to electricity since we did not have the other needed hoses.  We had lots of fun and can't wait for our virgin voyage!
