After a bit of research, we happily replaced the inverter on our 2013 2552. I am very familiar with Xantrex inverters, as we had those on our Foretravel. We did use a local RV Repair shop ... because we are old and lazy and have realized that our best tool in most instances is a credit card and a telephone. The job was easily accomplished, the shop had a very decent price on the Xantrex inverter and reasonable hourly rates. Think we will use him again. We don't boondock very often, but everyone needs to be ready for a night in a Walmart out of necessity ... pressure for time, bad weather, illness, etc. Now we are good to go!
Thanks, everyone, for the help and advice. I am slowly learning this rig and the systems. Of course, they are VERY close to what I am used to ... but not quite.
