We were at the factory on Sep 17 and the prototype Transit had just rolled in from Hershey. It was on a gas chassis but Pete said diesels are ordered. The stern galley was nice and the shower was bigger (wider) than our 2552. No slide out. The curb side couch had seat belts and the storage beneath was accessible from an exterior hatch. Nice looking rig!

I watched the video and was at first confused as they were saying it was great for a family with kids. Since it sleeps two and has lower weight limits, it didn't make sense to me. Then at the end of the video they say it's great for getting people to sports events, tailgating, etc. Aha, they are hoping it gets picked up by the soccer moms and sports enthusiasts.

That might work quite well but elsewhere they said number of seatbelts will match number of people it sleeps for all rigs... Which I think is two on that transit... So driver and copilot, no passenger seatbelts in the back - that needs clarification.

They also say there will be several floor plans and I think they have it set up that you can pick your paint colors so you could have team colors - just imagine, you're own custom football party van. I have no doubt that there is more to come.
