No matter what Class unit we purchase, the roof takes a beating if the unit is left out in the sun - and as you point out, for some, it's not just the sun! I guess the obvious is to try to find a storage facility that
has covered storage. If you store at home, perhaps a dedicated pad with a simple cover? I know these aren't the best answers for your problem, but I don't know what else to suggest. We happen to have a
very innovative person in our town who realized there was a market for indoor RV storage and purchased an abandoned warehouse. He's got to be a millionaire now - the place is full of high-end coaches. He
also provides 50A power and guarantees the temp will never go below 38 deg (he retained the heating system). Wish I had thought of that!
