Slide Awning Stretched
« on: June 15, 2017, 06:50:39 pm »
Beware leaving the slide- out in high winds. - awning is not covered under warranty.
My slide awning on a 2351 recently got stretched in high winds. With the slide out, the awning hangs loose (1" down) on one side and flaps in a mild breeze.  Does any one have suggestions how to make that side tighter?

Thanks Dave

Hi Dave,

With our regular awning, once due to high winds I had to unroll the entire amount of material, then roll it back onto the spool to get rid of the uneven condition you describe.  Maybe that will work for you with your slide out awning.
