If you are interested in trying something different, then take a look at the Froli Sleep System. I purchased the Froli Travel system for the short queen in our 2910D and could not be more pleased. I have the Froli Travel System which is a bit lower that the normal Froli star pattern to allow the mattress to slide under the wardrobe cabinet. I also ordered the queen short folding mattress from RecPro, which is 5 inches high vice the 7 inch high mattress that was on the bed when purchased. The Froli sleep system is a bit hard to explain, but is used in boats to provide air flow under the mattress to prevent condensation. It is also installed in some Airstream and Winnebago models. After 2 spinal fusions, I tried every kind of mattress topper made to make the foam mattress on plywood more comfortable and the only thing that has worked was adding the Froli sleep system to the bed. Found the Froli system system at a ship supply store on the east coast and the mattress at RecPro with total replacement cost being about $500.
