surge protection

do ya'll use any and if so what kind plug in or hard wired ?

I use the 30amp camping world sells and I ALWAYS, ALWAYS check the receptacle to make sure it is wired correct. We had just finished wiring some sites in our park at Pismo, on our next trip in I was checking the receptacle and our manager said, “we just rewired all these” my reply was “SO”

I also use the 30 amp plug-in surge guard from camping world.  Got it on "sale", but it's still rather expensive.  Not as expensive as replacing everything in the pc, though.  In addition to checking for proper wiring and line voltage, it also has a time delay that protects the ac when power goes off and back on.

I have the plug in Progressive Industries EMS-PT30C.  I am happy with it.

I use the hard wired Progressive Industries 30 AMP model. I travel in Mexico and it is a must. When we just got our new 2551 I had Ed wire it in when he was wiring the RV. I bought it on-line.
