2008 2400 tv replacement

Is there a special tv for replacement. Any advice for a new one. The present one can't be viewed at an angle as it becomes very dark. Tnanks

We installed a Vizio E260VA in our 2012 2551.  We chose the Vizio because of the slim design, front facing speakers and a sturdy back.  The sound is very good and can be heard easily with the A/C running.  There does not appear to be any flexing of the TV during travel.  We have over 3,000 miles and are very pleased.  The Vizio has very good viewing from any angle.

In 2008 we installed a samsung but were not pleased with the flex in the back or the viewing angle..

I did replace the TV in a (2006) 2350 with a Samsung, and it seemed to work okay, although as Barry says, there isn't much flexibility.  It really wasn't much of a job, except for a little trim to compensate for the different dimensions of digital vs. analog.  The obvious main thing is to get a unit with speakers in the front.  I also replaced the antenna with a "Jack" batwing... (No pun intended!)

It seems those very thin edge-lit LCD TVs of recent years uses much less power, opperating much cooler as well.  No concern of heat build-up, and much less of a battery drain when running off the invertor.

The thin edge lit LED back-light technology uses many less LEDs then standard LED back-light LCD TVs.  Either LED back-lit technology will consume much less power than conventional flourescent back lit LCD TVs.

I wonder which of the 3 LCD TV types (flourescent back lit, LED back lit, LED edge lit) are most robust for the harsh vibration motor home application.
