Judi (gradygal) brought up a good point (I gave you a helpful Judi) in another post about how to store literature so I thought I'd start a new topic.

In our different RVs through the years we have used various methods.  In our Phoenix Cruisers we have placed all our literature in a binder and organized them according to category.  This seems to work for us.  In the 2350 model we stored the binder in the cabinet above the passenger seat.  In our 2551 we store our literature behind the couch.  We have the couch with the drawer and there is a nice area behind that drawer that is easy to get to.

The cabinets above the driver and passenger seat will also handle a nice (cheap) magazine file.  I have used these in the past.  The ones I have are like what is shown here

They sell these at many of the discount store.  They are sturdy and work great to organize literature.  Remember to also carry your purchase papers with you for warranty work.

Great idea on those cheap magazine storage files! We pick up a lot of literature from different state visitor centers. That is the kind of thing that would work for them.

We keep all of our Phoenix stuff in a couple of binders. That gray pouch that you get with the PC is for the birds---

Many of you have seen our literature storage, but for you who have not.......

The top shelf is for PC manuals in binder, and Ford manual too.  The slots are for travel literature, anything else paper including books.

Ron,

    IMO your storage area looks nice but for me it would not work because it looks like the construction of it took up alot of space.  Maybe it is just the shelving material you used.  I do not think I would fill up that entire area, even being gone for three months at a time.  Give me the space for my clothes and purses and shoes and kitchen products and I will use every inch of it and then some .

Absolutely.  We were able to sacrifice the cabinet for literature more easily than most other PC owners I think because our no-slide dinette provides a lot more storage than the popular couch in slide out.  This cabinet was our literature cabinet anyways so the unit I constructed made it work much better.

Ron,

   That is why it is great to share these ideas because what works for one may not work for another and without a slide you have that additional overhead storage.
