FMCA Magazine for October 2011
« on: October 09, 2011, 10:26:25 am »
Yesterday I received by copy of the FMCA magazine and there are two things that I noticed right away.

1. The Phoenix ad has a QR code in the print. My concern is that only those  that have a smart phone will know about this wonderful offer. If it is test to see how many people will scan the code, that is one thing. >8)

2. Something all of us that have dealt with Stuart already know is written up in the "Readers forum" under "A caring manufacturer".  It is nice to see him get recognized in such a nice way. Salesman don't get this kind of praise very often, but he definitely deserves it. 2o2

I just found a third thing. On page 61 the ad for the Tripmaker RVND has a new kind of bar code that it say to scan with a smartphone. None of my scan apps will scan it. Does anyone know what scanner app I need?

I only wished that we could of seen the good side of Stuart!  I would be interested in looking at a different PC, but I will never deal with Stuart or PC again.

I am sorry that you and Stuart had a rocky start but you might want to give it another try. After all the PC is built by many different people that have all seemed to want to help the customer in any way possible. I am waiting for my second PC, which is my seventh motorhome. PC and Winnebago are the only two that I have repeated ownership with. Please don't dismiss a company because of just one bad incident.

I met Tom and Betsy shortly after I got my PC. I did not agree with all the "bad" things he pointed out to me. Some of the things where not that bad to me and some where the way things are made in most motorhomes. Everyone has the right to their opinion but when you send that much energy to slam a person or company I believe that you just like slamming people. You will notice on their web site that he slam everyone. We all can find fault with just about anything. So live and let live. Be positive.

As I have said in previous posts, Stuart and PC have been nothing short of "outstanding" in helping to come up with what we needed in our PC.  There is no perfect person in this world, as the only one that was is no longer on earth.  So, we all have our short comings, and a lot of this comes from personality conflicts.
Not only were Stuart and Kermit very helpful, but also the workers in the plant went out of their way to show us things we needed info on.  You say "you will never deal with PC again".  Well, having been in Quality Control in Aerospace most of my adult life and RVing most of it also, I have found there is no perfect RV unit on the market.  They all have problems.  But for the most part I have had far fewer problems with my PC compared to our Airstream M/H and Roadtrek, to mention a couple.  So, I would recommend you give them another try because we as humans have the ability to evaluate and resolve our differences.
P.S. I do not work for, or am associated with PC, just a satisfied customer.
