He didn't mean that you were a pita. He meant the problems were pitas for the users--meaning that they weren't preventing you from using the site, just being a thorn in your side (or a pain in your backside).
Chances are that Kermit knows how helpful the forum is for the company, but it never hurts for him to hear it.
