When we flush the toilet, the water stops and the is a small "croak" I think it is coming from the small valve. any ideas

Billy or Ron or anyone,
Did you ever come up with an answer or solution to the toilet noise?  Our toilet also, after the flush and the water stops, follows with a small soft "croak" or "groan".  Is this normal?

I, too, have the "croak" sound.  Probably a valve closing or pressure relief from the sudden stop of water flow???  The "little Kermit" is actually a better explanation.

I think it is a valve. NOW a question, we have the thetford toilet that came with the rig. when we flush the blade does not get cleaned off. we are thinking of a foot flush. other then thetford, any ideas?

Has the noise (croak) remained the same or become worse over time?  Will it effect the functioning of the toilet?  I guess what I am asking is- if it is a problem, does the valve need to be fixed or corrected?  I don't mind the small noise- just want to make sure nothing is going to get worse.
Thanks-
Roni

After reading this string with a bit of chuckling, I have to relate an actual incident that happened to me when I lived in Baton Rouge several years ago.  I walked into a bathroom in my house and when I raised the lid, there was a medium sized toad staring up at me from the bowl of the toilet.  He was not, however, croaking.  I surmized he must have come in by swimming upstream through the sewer system until he surfaced in the toilet bowl.  Significance of this - sometimes there really is a frog in the toilet.
