Ver. 4.05, I have a cansf protocol on a 2007 E-450 v-10.
Installed behind the turn signal lever, inline with the blank spot below gauge in instrument cluster, the cable runs along the steering column cut-out and then underneath the knee panel(?) to the plug. Wrapped the excess cable and tucked it under a the steering column brace.
Every thing came up roses with no problems on the first try. The Scan Guage stuff is intuitive and kinda like plug-n-play add on's for your computer.
I have not gotten to the transmission temperature part yet, maybe after dinner and I will try for pictures too.
Mounting options were very limited on my unit as far as I was concerned to basically one, and that was after going through the various scenarios at least twice over 30 minutes or so. You can tell that I put a lot of thought into it, right?

PS Having the AC on in the PC made this bearable at 103°F.
