Another wax thread

Very easy on and off, high gloss with minimal splotchy/cloudy haziness. Applied using a 8” orbital polisher with terry cloth bonnets.  Removed  light to medium oxidization. Time will tell how long it lasts.

I started using it last year.  Members of a different RV Forum recommended it for gel coated fiberglass panels.   Makes sense.  Same material as used on fiberglass panels for watercraft.

Easy application.  Seems to penetrate the clear coat.  Anything that can keep the clear coat from blistering has my support.

Mine is not painted. I keep washing and waxing but I'll admit, not often enough if it's supposed to done be several times a year. Parts are getting really oxidized. Does this treatment remove the heavy oxidation? Not sure I have the stamina to spend multiple days doing this but I need something as easy as I gets. It doesn't need to be perfect.

Also, I've read threads on cracking decals but wondered if there was anything better these days. They look awful. I have no way of storing it under some cover so please don't give me a hard time over that.

For some background, I actually live in this thing by myself with four dogs part or most of the year and fix things as I can so I'm somewhat handy (I've only had it in for repairs I absolutely couldn't manage}.I'm old lady now though with bad balance so getting on the roof is a challenge.

Any suggestions on this waxing and decal business?

I've always used this: 3M Marine Scotchgard Liquid Wax - 1 Liter
Need to wipe off before it hazes.

At least once a year. My decals have never had a problem either.

What ever you use will take work, I do a lttle at a time, big RV = big job.

Depends if you have full body paint or not.

So then what is recommended if you have full body paint? What does the factory use/recommend?

I use Turtle Wax Wash and Shine.  But I don't have full body paint.  Everything looks good, except the decals of course. I tried 303 protectant on the decals but they still cracked.
