2552 vs 2552
« on: September 15, 2023, 11:05:11 am »
I’ve listed my 2014 2552 on the forum and on RVT.  Someone answered on RVT and asked what is different on say a 2013-2023 2552?  Sorta hard to answer for me as body is basically the same except for exterior paint scheme on full body paint.  Think there was a slide mechanism change in there at one point.  Interior colors changed.  Newest might have the new v-8.  But what else can I tell them?

Each year they make small changes, doesn't affect basic value, age & mileage are the biggies.
The old slide you have is way better than the newer one, the new engine and transmission are different but not a deal breaker.

Totally agree... A couple more minor differences that come to mind are the captains chairs and "leather" accent panels in the cabinetry. I don't know the exact years, but the late 00's and early teens have reported flaking and peeling (including my 2010).

Also, the cab interior got a face-lift starting in 2015 chassis models (which may or may not align exactly with the 2015 coach year). This directly affects your Ford options and after market add-ons (adaptive cruise, Lane keeping, LED lighting, dog house upgrades, steering wheel button integration, etc).
