Dump Tanks

Dump Tanks

Finally dumped the tanks of the Sprinter 2400.
Discovered that the pumps outside were not labeled, so used trial and error after calling the factory.

But---when inside, found that the panel over the stove listed:  Tank 1 and Tank 2, but did not specify as
to which was gray and which was black.

Never thought of it before....til time to dump.
Please help a newbie.   :)

I have a different model PC, but on my 2010 2350 the monitor is black for Tank 1 and gray for Tank 2.  Maybe it's standard on all models.  If you're tanks are full you could start dumping the black tank as labeled on the macerator pump and then go inside and see whick tank on the monitor is getting lower.

Hey, u guys are amazing. Bought ur PC in 2009 and just emptied tanks for the first time?? I'm impressed!!   :-D

Maybe LRS had unexpected mishaps in life that prevented them from using the motor home after they bought it.  From my own personal experience, one sick/hospitalized child or grand child, will quickly park a motor home for a very long time.  Unexpected self employment misfortune can do the same.  There are so many scenerios.

I am glad to read they are learning about their 1.5 year old PC with virgin poop support infrastructure.  :)

Dump Tank Indicator Lights..... Thanks to my Brother One Touch Label Maker.....I know the difference
