Micro-air easy touch RV thermostat
« on: May 20, 2023, 09:38:27 am »
Just curious to see if anyone has replaced their RV thermostat with the Micro-air easy touch.    While we haven't had any issues with our Dometic thermostat this thermostat is a digital, color screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Curious on why you’d want it?

Just curious if anyone has replaced their thermostat with the Micro-air.   If they have replaced their old thermostat why?

We are definitely considering it because our front thermostat has been a problem since day one.  When the cover is on, as it is supposed to be, if we touch the temperature up or down buttons the temperature will begin going up or down and won't stop.  We finally took the cover off the thermostat and now just touch the sensors with our fingers and it works fine, but it would be nice to have the cover on it for looks if nothing else.  I will take a look at the Micro-air unit and see if that is an option.  Others I had looked at didn't have the best reviews.  Thanks for the heads up.

DK, if I was going to change mine out I wouldn’t go with anything Bluetooth etc.  I’d want as basic as available.  When I’m on the road the air has to be on all the time anyway, no need to make changes during the day.  I set the temp and it tries to keep up with the heat.  My home is a different story with great connectivity so I can check on the home when gone for weeks or months. I can make changes when we’re on the way home etc.
