The Phoenix Cruiser Photo Contest with $50 prize!

Here are  the basics:

I'm taking submissions from now through May 20th of Phoenix Cruisers on the road, embracing the "Adventure Anywhere" mindset. Beginning May 21st, and lasting one week, we will open the contest to public vote in this forum. The winner will get a $50 check from Phoenix Cruiser, AND have their photo featured in a full-page ad in FMC Magazine!

Here are the details:

All submissions should be a minimum 3MP
All submissions must include a Phoenix Cruiser
Submissions should be e-mailed to me:  comments@phoenixcruiser.com  Please include your name, where the photo was taken, and the year it was taken.
All submissions will be voted on by members of this forum and the Phoenix staff (we will monitor for double voting, so don't worry about that).
Upon submission, all photos will become eligible to be used in the Phoenix Cruiser website and/or print and electronic ads and Facebook.
I will keep your name (let me know how you want it displayed) as well as the year the photo was taken in a copyright watermark on the image, wherever it is displayed larger than thumbnail size.

WOOHOO!   (cheer)

edited to add: The winning photo will be used in a full-page ad in FMC magazine, and you can submit older photos. It doesn't have to be something you took right now.

Too bad it's only for a week.  We'll be doing a Great Lakes vacation in July, where opperunity will be at hand for some nice pis.  Oh well.

I surely want to participate in the voting process.

Ron,

We may run another one.  I'd like to do something early winter after everyone's traveled.  Right now I'm wanting something I can put in a full-page ad in FMC Magazine, and my deadline is the end of this month.  :'(

I'll open this up for voting tomorrow, guys.  Sorry I forgot that today was AAU regional qualifying championships for my kids' tumbling and trampoline, and we just dragged in after a grueling day.

Thanks for understanding!  My state champs have recovered from celebratory dinners. My silver and bronze medalists have recovered from not being state champs this year, and I think I've slept off all the driving and tension etc. ;-)

The contest is open for voting in the Polls forum!

It was a very close race, and there were really quite a few top contenders up there, but the results have been tallied, and the winner is...


Option 16: Scenic Byway


Congratulations to Ron for this submission.  I'll mock it up into an ad tonight or tomorrow, and you guys can get the sneak peek.

Everyone remember to take your cameras with you this traveling season. I may not be able to coordinate a contest with cash prize frequently, but I could do three or four each year for fame and glory on the website and in print.  And you guys know I'm always excited to receive your submissions for our Adventure Anywhere page, and on our site's home page.

Thanks so much to all who entered submissions. We had several good photos, and you will see them displayed around the site. Stay tuned!

Actually, it is a very good photo and you can clearly see the Phoenix Cruiser name. y--

Congratulations Ron. A deserved vistory.

But just wait 'til I get some photos on our next trip running the coast roads of lakes Erie. St. Claire and Michigan, which starts Tuesday morning (you'll be sorry). 3:)

Bring it on Buddy!  I am up for the challenge, ha, ha.

Hopefully our Lake Michigan trip this summer will present opportunity to compete with all for next time.  Good PC picture moments are hard to come by for me.  Most often, we are pulled off the road to enjoy a scene.....then walking back to the motor home and ...."Ahhhh, I got one".

When are you going on your Lake Michigan trip?

We'll be in South Bend later in June to visit a friend and then stop at the factory on the way home to PA.

We are leaving Saturday June 25th, with hopes in staying somewhere around Warren Dunes or South Haven, most likely in a private campground given the weekend.  If private places are full, we'll wing it anywhere legal.
