Forum GoDaddy Server Update coming...

Hello Everyone!
I was just notified that GoDaddy will be updating the server that hosts the Forum sometime in the near future. We can not anticipate it there will be any impact and we do not have a scheduled date. Once we receive the notification that the update will happen, they put us in a queue and it happens automatically. There will be a brief time in which the forum will be down during the update. It should come back online once the server is rebooted.

If I get more details as to when this will happen, I will advise.

Just curious, is the update a reason why, or the reason for the week or so around Christmas when the Forum was down but the Phoenixusarv site seemed fine?

That might be, but there was not explanation made to me as to why the site went offline temporarily. Fortunately, it was reported and our IT guys were able to "reboot" and get it back online.

So, the update was completed this week... hopefully did not cause too much disruption. If you find that the forum is ever down... if it is not back up within a day... please email me so that I can check into it.
