Front Door Strut

Our front door strut seems to have failed on our 2018 2552. Anyone know where besides the factory I can order one? Part #?

Thanks, John

I replaced mine with the one linked below from Amazon. They are available in various lengths.

Hey Kevin
How did you determine the force? I was looking at mine and took measurements etc. but just couldn't decide on the force.

Very Respectfully
Lance

If you go to the link KEB supplied and look at the second down little click description picture in upper left hand corner, it will tell you which product you need for applications.

They can sell you the strut you need right down to the exact part number match from your current door strut. That’s where I got mine. It’s not just the weight you have to look at it’s the length as well.

Hi Lance,

As I recall, I chased the original part number and came up with the force. I changed mine out because it was too long, allowing the door to swing into my awning hardware and scratch the door when the awning was extending. Seems like austinhardware.com did not have a 14 inch/25 lb model available so I found one on Amazon. The 25 lb version works well.

Regards, Kevin
