I'm sure these cats are fixed as they each have a notch in their ear and I have not seen any kittens over the years.

Now we need to work out a working solution for mosquitos. Lol

Irene is very allergic to the mosquito bite.  Her bites swell huge.

We found these to be quite effective and fun.  THE MOSQUITO RACKET.

When Irene is gardening in her flower beds, I'll do a sweep of the area with a racket in each hand, disturbing the plants and zapping them.  Then while gardening, I will stand around her and clean up the residuals.

But the most effective combatant is fogging the yard an hour or two before Irene goes out, but the air must be still for the fog to do it's thing.

I also found it effective to cut the grass one setting lower and bag the grass.

But outdoors in a PC in the wilderness?  If only we could live in harmony with God's creation.

Hey have you tried the Bite Away pen.  I have one and it works. The tip gets hot and it kills the sting from bees to itch from mosquitos.

Very Respectfully

???

I never heard of such a device.  I will have to do some research on where to buy one.
Thanks Lance!

We just live in harmony with critters. Our just shy of an acre place is heavily wooded with a small drainage creek at the very back.  We have 14 different varieties of native trees in the back, some over sixty feet tall which is unusual for our area.   Squirrels abound, lizards, a few snakes, turtles, possums and a family of fox come by to visit occasionally.   Last winter a racoon had a great den under part of a deck.  We don't bother them and the only thing we normally trap is a skunk every few years.   A couple of cats come to visit at night and take care of some field mice, I assume.   I squirrel proofed our soffit vents years ago and they don't bother us.  We just enjoy their antics.    We figure they were all here before we were.

Areas around us have become densely developed and have driven out and destroyed habitat for a lot of critters.  No longer do we see deer, bobcats or coyotes around our place.

Since the PC is stored in a clear area a few miles from our home, we are OK on that using our Tomcat blocks or pellets if needed.

YES YES MICE.  Everyone is correct, elimination is the best answer, IF you are able to catch them ALL! Good Luck, one female mouse is capable of having an average of 100+ pups/year (1 litter every 20 days, I'm sure some of  the pups will be female) NO END to the birth rate!  Our solution was to keep them from entering the MH, another daunting  task trying to find all the points of entry.  After several frustrating futile attempts we opted for the PEPPERMINT treatment.  NO mice in over a year.  Another upside is the MH smells pleasantly fresh.

We live on forty acres in the MN woods, yes there are definitely mice in them thar woods.  We used half the bottle last fall placed in small containers around the MH, still today it  smells fresh and no  mice signs: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_dp_s_web_0?ie=UTF8&search-alias=aps&field-keywords=LAB+BULKS+ESSENTIAL+OIL

Best of luck; Clyde
