In today's Mortonsonthemove.com blog they list the PC 2100 as one of the best B+ models.  The first group of posts look like a catalog but they also had some really nice posts about their Alaska journey.

Good PR for Phoenix Cruiser!

The other "one of the best" is our 2007 model 2350 without a slide-out.  roflol

Sorry, I couldn't resist.  :)

I was drawn to the website after noticing it also includes an option to read about travel to Alaska.
After first glance, and having seen how well subjects are presented, I bookmarked the website for future reference.  I think it contains a wide range of information and am impressed with the way it is organized.  Very nicely done.
While I don't deny the appropriateness of the Cruisers being included in the Top 5, I think the ratings were sorted on order of price more than comparison of features and merits.
However, the coverage of the Alaska Trip was undeniably thorough.  The report included coverage of every conceivable route and was presented in increments to allow the reader to select individual trip legs and realize the options offered.  The obvious takeaway is that such a trip has aggregate mileage in the range of 15,000 miles.  That, for those embarking from the West Coast.  And the report also emphasizes weather as a consideration that eliminates a leisurely pace being expected.  That in the sense May is too early and September is too late for planning.  Also, it appears planning an Alaska trip via the ALCAN in the upcoming 2022 travel season will have to include the possibility of travel restrictions being continued.
