Leave the seat up. Pt2

Checked the PC this afternoon for some run time.  Had another mouse submerged in the antifreeze in the toilet.  They just don’t like my peanut butter traps.  Had to add some more antifreeze, they drink a lot.

That’s crazy. Mice not liking PB? Absurd.  Let us know if you find the entry point.

Lost last response?  Got under today with a flashlight (2552) .  There is a black vent tube in the bath room closet, drivers side, that runs up thru the roof.  PC drilled an ample hole for this pipe to pass. Lots of room for critters to pass.  Would like to foam close from underneath but can’t get to them because of position of black tank.  Checked under beds and all cabinet and couldn’t find any evidence of housekeeping.  Will try packing some pink fiberglass insulation around the gaps where the black pipe passes thru.

Never done it myself, but I hear people use steel wool to block holes.  Supposed to be good critter deterrence.

That's your Grey tank on the driver's side and the black pipe is the vent for the Grey tank.

Check under kitchen cabinets. We found bits of paper towel under there after trapping a mouse. Take out the bottom drawer for access. I used the camera on my phone with flash to check out the tucked away places.

I am lucky to have an enclosed storage garage for my PC about two miles from our home.   Since it is enclosed I like to put a cube of TomCat on each side of the wheels.  Takes 8 cubes total and I have found a little chewing on the TomCat but never had a mouse.   Of course, if not stored inside that could be a danger to other critters, but the only thing that can get into my space are field mice.

The Copper Brillo Pads also work.  Similar to steel wool, they are less susceptible to corrosion.  And, because of that, the eventuality of loss to rusty powder is of less concern
