anyone else having problems with this stuff. Ie:mold/dark spots between film and coach.  Numerous threads on other forums on how to remove, but not currently in the mood to fight with it. 2013/14 2552.  Mirrors, across the top cap on hood.  Just looks bad.

I would call Diamond Shield.  Also, search for diamond shield on this forum.  I believe there is a lifetime warranty on it and they will remove it and replace it at no charge.  There is a service center in Elkhart.

I think that only the new 'Nano fused' shield has that warranty. From their site:

""Big or Small, all Diamond Shield Nano-Fusion installations booked directly through our call center now come with a National Limited Lifetime Warranty. ""

Where any previous install is actually known to have a service life, and not under warranty-

""Regardless of the film manufacturer, the useful life of first and second generation Paint Protection Film is time limited. Older film technology offers limited life expectancy which means it is more likely to stain, yellow, or crack. The expected life can vary depending on film type, climate, and general maintenance.""

Worth calling about, but I wouldn't hope of having a no expense replacement of your film. Especially if you have not followed their recommended care:  https://www.diamond-shield.com/product-care

Found a c2015 list of what Diamond Shield used to post for the care here: https://www.coachspecialists.com/blog/rv-diamond-shield-information-tips-removal-and-replacement-costs/  (scroll to bottom)

I was unable to locate a copy of the limited warranty they do offer. Its odd they dont have a link to it on their site.  (WH)

Sort-of related.....

The Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice have a clear 3M film applied in two places.  The product is very similar to the Diamond Shield product.

My Sky's clear film was totally destroyed by the sun as shown here.

I used plastic razor blades and kerosene as a lubricant and penetrant to remove it.

It took many hours per side to get to this.

So far our Diamond Shield continues to look fine but I worry about it turning into what our Sky had.  I have seen pictures of a couple of PCs for sale with the Diamond Shield looking that bad.  If like our Sky, it would take weeks of hard core determination to get all the Diamond Shield off.
