This pump seams to be hard to find and is quite expensive.  Does anyone know of a different brand comparable replacement?

I picked one up on Amazon for $30.  On its second season. At this point if it fails I’m out nothing. I found one for 65-70 and then spotted one for 30 and they looked the same. I ordered both snd the were identical right down to the label. So I keep the cheap one. The cheap units I’m betting aren’t as good as the original but it works fine so far.

Thanks for your replies.  Ron, I saw your post before I posted my question.  Correct me if I'm missing something but the picture shows your Sani-Con model 5800-6004hb and mine is 70428.  Joseph - what was the make and model you got?  Mine has the 3" opening with the standard sewer connections.

Ron and Joseph:
Any feedback / suggestions?  Mine broke off at the sewer connection due to very rough highway and I need to replace.
Thanks:
Ron Brown

Hi Ron Brown,

If my memory serves me right, the company that made my original 2007 macerator changed ownership a few years later.  It is conceivable that the macerator part number could have changed without changing the macerator itself, so I would not worry about mismatched part numbers.

If your macerator looks like my original and replacement, then I would try what I did.  If yours looks different, then I advise to look on websites like eBay for a similar one like I did for mine.

Don't be fooled by the 3" fitting of your macerator.  That connection is a separate piece.  Here are 3 pictures of pumps that look different, but are of the same core design.  Just swap out the peripheral parts.

So is this part of what you need?

https://pdxrvwholesale.com/products/sani-con-bayonet-adapter-70405

The bayonet is part number 70405.   There may be another cross reference as well. If all that broke is the bayonet you can order this part on Amazon, eBay or who ever has one and mount it on your current pump. I had one break before and during the off season I bought an extra and carry with me just for the example you listed. High season they run 45- 50 $ off season around $35.

Is Ron Brown's macerator fine but his 3" bayonet connection broken?  If so, then I agree.  Just buy that piece of the assembly.

I wonder if the factory could help him secure an exact replacement at a very affordable price.

Ron, I may have gotten lost in the communication but I got the idea the bayonet broke . I could easily be wrong in my assumption
