Liquid Springs Routine Maintenance Check - 600 ft lbs Torque Check

The Liquid Springs manual calls for a 25,000 mile or 6 month max interval check on the bolts and nuts on the control arm pivots to assure they are properly torqued. If I'm reading the manual properly, the torque for the control arm pivot bolts and nuts is 600 ft-lbs.

Is this a correct interpretation on my part?  If so, has anyone with Liquid Springs done this check and how did you do it?
 
I know torque wrenches with that capacity are readily available. Did you do this torque check with the coach on the ground or did you use a lift to have room to swing the LONG wrench?

Call Liquid Springs.   Their installation manual says to torque the 1" bolts for the control arms "at ride height"

Haven't done this yet. 
Was half thinking about planning a trip that included a stop at the LS factory but have not even confirmed that they would do this.

My LS makes a low thud noise when the rear is rocking like the valves are opening or closing. Doesn't sound like any kind of failure  but it is definitely there.
I talked to Chad at LS and he said  there was a design change that might correct this though it was not considered a defect.
Wanted to have them listen to it and see if it was worth fixing.

It is only noticeable at low speeds  when cornering.
Have you heard such a  noise?

Jim - I haven't heard a low thud noise when the rear is rocking.  It does make several low thud noises at start up when it's been off for several days. I have presumed that was normal. Does yours do this?

Looks like you would have to use a four post lift to gain room to swing a torque wrench and still maintain ride height.  The LS installation videos show them using large jack stands to support the rear axle during installation. I'm not sure there is room between the nuts and the inner tire for a socket and torque wrench.

Yes I do get those noised during startup and I think it is the same  noise I am talking about but pretty sure mine continues while driving. Only noticeable when going slow.

Hopefully you won't have to swing that wrench very far ! 

We took our new-to-us 2019 to LS factory in Lafayette last year because we received no maintenance records from previous owner and Campers Inn. Unit had 11,000 miles at the time.  Full checkup took less than an hour, was free and we were even gifted some LS goodies.

  Factory was very helpful and applauded us for taking the time to come in. We gave them a few days notice and were taken in immediately  we did have to unhook the toad in a rainstorm. Good experience.

I have a 2012 3100. How do you like the LS?  I'm considering have LS installed on my PC. LS is EXPENSIVE! Your opinion is appreciated.

We are enjoying the LS but not sure we would have spent all that money without at least a demo drive/test. We had a used 2017 2910D for about 6 months and that seemed like a sports car after our 42 ft diesel pusher. But the LS came with our gently used unit and we have gotten accustomed to it. Our setup only raises the rear axle although we have heard they might be doing a two-axle model soon or maybe now. The ability to raie the rear end is helpful for us because we have a downward-sloped driveway and the street wants to "engage" our rear end when backing out. There are basically 3 height levels (L/M/H) and 3 ride quality levels (Comfort, Normal, Sport). On our latest trip we have been using the Sport mode most of the time because it is the firmest and seems to provide the highest degree of traction in wind and inclement weather.

We like the system, especially since it came with the unit which was only about a year old when we bought it. I would strongly suggest you test drive one if possible.
