Need To Replace Shower Faucet
« on: May 19, 2021, 04:33:03 pm »
I'm reconditioning a recently purchased 2007 PC 2551. Put water into the lines for the first time yesterday and found the the shower faucet leaked and needed to be replaced. It has a rear drivers side corner shower with the faucet in the back corner. There are screws in the shower wall in the corner. Is that panel of the shower enclosure need to be removed to replace the faucet? Or?

Any knowledge in how to do the fix would be appreciated before I attempt it. Has anyone ever attempted to replace a faucet in a 2552, 2552 or 3100 that have that type of shower arrangement? I've replaced shower fixtures in other PCs but the fixtures did not need the shower walls to be removed.

I just replaced mine.  You have to take that corner panel off and after installing faucet, re-caulk with bathroom silicone.  Very easy to do.
