Slide First or Level First?
« on: May 15, 2021, 04:27:42 pm »
I've heard conflicting info on this.   Do I use auto levelers first and then put out the slide OR put out the slide first then use auto levelers?

I use the HWH levelers first and then extend the slide.  When leaving I retract the slide first and then raise the jacks.

I've understood that the leveling jack procedure should precede room extension, and my process has been the same as fandj.

In a quick review of the operating manuals for the systems, I don't see the question addressed in the HWH Jack Manual, but the Lippert Slide-out Manual says to deploy any leveling jacks before extending the slide.
