No more smokey paper kindling and looking like a fool trying to get the campfire started.
A box of 12 fits neatly in any of the small overhead storage cabinets. I used 2 for good measure and had a red hot fire going in minutes. Vons grocery stores stock them too.

Irene makes fire starters from paper egg cartons, dryer lint, and old candle wax, a recipe she found on the internet.
- Place dryer lint balls in each egg carton compartment.
- Pour old melted candle wax into each. (we have lots of old candles at home)
- Let harden.
- Cut them into individual cups.
- Collect them in a coffee can.
- Store in your PC.
- They work quite well.
- Use 2 or 3 cups at once pending the wood you are trying to start.
- Light one or more corners of the paper carton cup.
