Air conditioner will not cycle
« on: April 29, 2021, 08:41:39 am »
As we start our trip south we wanted the air on. Set it to 74, but it would not cycle off once it reached that temp. We have a stand alone thermometer that read 69. Am I missing a setting or something?
thanks

Yes, the fan speed on the thermostat.  If set to low or high, the fan stays on all the time. If set to auto, it cycles off an on.

Like Donc says. (We were typing at the same time I guess)   It is nice to set the fan to low at night so the fan cycling on/off all night doesn't annoy.
