Sold our PC
« on: March 25, 2021, 10:42:22 am »
With sadness I write that Linda and I sold our PC.  We loved our PC 2551 but with the kids producing grandkids like rabbits we will be looking to go back to a travel trailer with bunk beds so they can camp with us.

Love this forum.  Thanks for all the helpful information provided to us.  PC owners and the factory support are the best!!

Till we meet again!

I surely get that.  You take care!

If only we had your problem.  We have two granddaughters (5 and 2) but our daughter-in-law is "one of those people" if you get my drift.  We had dreams of taking the little ones on weekend get-aways and maybe even on a longer trip, but they will remain dreams.  We couldn't even take the girls out for icecream.  We don't know what is going on with the next generation, but many are quick to fling their control and power around, especially when there is no call for it.  I could understand if we were loose cannon people with bad habits, poor driving records, enjoy drinking a bit much, but we are squeaky clean.  We would give our lives for our two granddaughters.  I think our DIL finds our faith in God to be her "big" threat.  Our son falls in line to maintain peace with her at our expense....he has been drinking the Kool-Aid over there.  It has always been a "walking on egg shell" relationship taking the abuse over so many years, but late last year we challenged our DIL's behavior and now we're out of their lives.  "Cancel Culture".  Three months so far and we've had no contact with our granddaughters...no contact permitted in any fashion.  How cruel some people are.

Sorry for getting off-topic here.

Ron and Linda,

I think all of us on the forum owe You Guys a debt of thanks.  You have been a consistent contributor for as long as I have been a member, and have added a great deal over the years to the dialog.  You have been one of those valuable members that have given more than you've received, and we'll miss your regular input geared to PC's.

I hope you can find time to stay in touch with all of us, your experiences from the travel trailer world would certainly be welcomed and we'd love to continue to hear from you.

All the best,       Mike

This isn't a political forum, so I will make this one post and shut up.

Your situation with your grandkids and DIL is sad and unfortunately all too common these days with so called Millennials.  I blame it on our public schools.  The concepts they teach these days is that nothing is their fault... There are no winners or losers, just participants.. and they all get a trophy.  Under no circumstances can students be exposed to reality or can they accept any negative consequences.   Everything to them is micro-aggressive and must be challenged.

Again, I feel for your loss...you have always come across here as a decent person.  Your situation with your son, his wife and their kids has become all to common lately due to the direction the Millennials are taking.

And now I will shut up.

Ron. I agree with much of what Don wrote .

I went thru a time period where I couldn’t see one of my grand daughters for 2 years. It about tore my heart out. In time things worked out and I see her frequently once again. I pray this comes around for you two. This all aside as we all know a marriage is not dictated by one. Not to be disrespectful but your Son needs to grow a pair. It’s not just you two being hurt by this, your grand children are as well.   Hang in there, your Grandchildren will be asking for you!

Thank you all for your kind words and support.  Being relatively early into being cancelled, we are hoping our son will wake up and put a stop to the evil there in his home, even if at the risk of divorce.

Good Luck Ron & Linda!

Ron D...  so sorry to hear this about your grandchildren.  Our schools, the media, and our current government is in a very sad state.  All leading to a further division in our country.  Prayer is very powerful. Trust in Him!
