Where is the water tank in relation to the spilled water?  Is there water in the tank.  Had a leak where the top tank sensor(water level indicator) was fitted into the side of the tank.

2 Lucky.  I took a look at the wall in the storage area.  There was a strip with screws but it turned out to only cover the side if the metal base of the RV.  I don't see off hand how else the wall is attached - at least not anything that would allow me to put it back. Thanks fir the encouragement and thoughts.

Tarnold thanks for the thought but as I said, it isn't the tank nor anything else in that area

It is just a fiber board stapled in place. Mine had a lid hold-up screwed on that also held up the panel. Start a screw or two at an angle in the upper corners (not perimeter tho) to give you  something to pull with. The staples aren't that strong. You then have to bend the panel to get it out of the compartment. I pulled mine out when I added a pump switch to the closet wall above the toilet.
