After a grewelling day of driving and an hour plus realized I forgot my insulin and had to return home, get it and then back on the road. That set the tone for the day. Any way finally arrived at out campsite. Set up & when we turned on the water pump, it kept surging. Could flush the cammode, and get some water out of the faucets, but not near the volume as before. Turn the water off and the pump continues to surge.
Any ideas? A quick simple fix would be great! As these ten thumbs are arthritic. And today is first or a 3 week trip.
Need Help, please!
Sounds to me like there is an open valve or perhaps you forgot to fill the water heater. With the pump running, open a hot water faucet. You may get an immediate output of water, but wait about 10 seconds, if the water stops and air comes out... Let it purge and fill the water heater.
Also, check all faucets, cold and hot including the outside shower.
Lastly, check your low point drains, are they fully closed?
How many times have you had it out this year (since you bought it),any issues on those trips?
And final check, if all else fails, do you see water dripping underneath the coach?
