Paint codes

Again, call Phoenix, talk to Dave Ponser.  If nothing else, he can give you the name of the shop that does the actual painting.  You (or Dave) can call the shop and get the exact information brand/type/color that they use to paint Phoenix Cruisers "Desert Sand" color.

I just checked a group of memos I have, the color codes(as least in 2015) that Phoenix used were Sikkens codes.  My 2015-2551 is 355G2 which is  "Nightshade"

What did you finally figure out? I have the same model and paint as yours.

Spoke to Dave and he couldn’t help. He advised me to go to an auto paint shop to have them match the color. I thought that I had the right paint code and got a small bottle of paint at a local automotive store but it was too dark.  I’ve been out if state for a few weeks and not in the coach 😩 so I don’t have that info with me. If you find the codes please let me know. My search will continue when I get back home.

Dave said my unit paint code is Sikens 314A3. (For Desert Sant)
However, I searched for this combo and got exactly nowhere... the quest continues.

I'm having the same issue with paint codes. So far the color codes I got from Dave Ponzler can't be matched. They seem to be a unique PC color codes (358E5, 359A3,358G5). Even the original Elkhart based S & S Auto, that supposedly painted PC coaches couldn't match these colors to send me a touchup kit. But I can add some info to this post.

On my PC the original paint was manufactured by Sikkens. Sikkens RV paint now seems to go by the name of  AkzoNobel Sikkens, a European company that bought them out. It can get very confusing because Sikkens paint is very similar to PPG? In 2017 PPG changed and transitioned the name of Sikkens for some of their products????

I've seen on other RV websites that owner's have taken off their outside Frig covers and have had successful touchup paint matches. I did take my PC in for a paint match. However only one of the three colors were a successful match.

But I'll keep trying and if I get a place that can match the PC color codes I'll post it. And if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated.

Here are the two different touch up paints I got and neither is a match:  light autumn wood metallic B/C 55/WA228A which I got from ColorRite Dist. East and  Dupli-Color Desert Sand Mica ATY 1610 which is a Toyota color 402 which I got at a local automotive store.  If anyone is successful in matching please post.
