Paint codes

I have finally taken the bull by the horns. I have sanded down the front cap almost to fiberglass. The peeling clear coat was making a mess and looking terrible.
After searching this forum, I’ve searched under the hood to find the paint codes and have found a sticker that no longer has any print on it. I’m assuming that was the documentation.
I need to get the paint codes so that I can recover my poor naked front cap. I have called the main phone number at PC only to get a voicemail (I left info) and I have emailed the technical support email listed under contacts here. Still no response. Am I being impatient to hear back?  How long did it take for your PC inquiries to get responses?

The paint codes are on the driver's door near the VIN and tire pressure stickers.

If not, Carol can get them for you along with a legend of what color goes where.

Have both of your VINs handy when Carol calls.  She will likely ask for one of the two.

By both, I assume that you mean the RVIA# also?

That is not what I was thinking.  My PC has a long VIN number similar to the chassis VIN.  I want to say it is labelled in the driver door.

Everyone is correct!  Carol is TRUELY awesome!  I called today and left all pertinent info and had an email back tome within a couple hours responding that she is off for the next couple of days....   She contacted the office and got the info from someone else then forwarded me my info!!!

I need to get a small bottle of touch up paint.  I called the service department and got the paint code needed.  I called automotivetouchup.com to see if they could provide me with a bottle of touch up paint.   They said that they could not find anything that was a match.  The color is Desert Sand and the code is 314A3.  Does anyone know where I can get a match?

 

Call the factory, they can lookup the exact information based on your VIN

I totally agree with Don & Patti. But be prepared for the original vehicle for the paint to be a surprise.  The green on my 2900D is from a 2003 Nissan Infiniti. Lol    nice color, but not what I was expecting.  Once I had the color code  Google listed several places that sell a small bottle of paint.

I did get the paint codes from the service department but I can’t find anyplace that has a match for the code they gave me.  Any suggestions?  Maybe I was given the incorrect paint code but Keith looked it up to make sure that he was giving me the correct code.  Does anyone know who does the painting of the vehicles .  Mine is a 2015 and doesn’t have the full body paint, only the paint at the bottom.

I just found the sticker on the drivers door that has the custom paint code and the one I was given is correct.  Now I just need to find someplace that can mix it to match.
