Don, I’m aware of what they were made of. My point only being the insulation available to RV manufacturers don’t lend to keeping a RV cool.

Sorry, was trying to make a joke out of "vacuum sealed" on the shuttle.

Yes, you are very correct, RV manufacturers have a very limited choice in insulation.

Don ahhh so much lost in typed translation. After us talking about it I did a couple minute search to see how much the estimated cost for each panel was for the shuttle.  Holy crap! Don't think we will ever see it made for consumer use...... I think ill go back to wanting a 50 amp service and two ac units and possibly add some chrome trim.

Well, its a good thing I don't need to depend on the generator in my 2350 while driving.  I stopped at a Pilot for a free stay on my way to the Villages in Florida this week.  The generator ran for about 30 min, and then stopped. Again. It worked fine when I tested it before the trip, but, of course, I didn't run it for 30 min.

I sure wish Honda made a replacement, because I'm getting pretty sick of messing with this Onan that works flawlessly until you actually need it.  It's got a grand total of 54 hours on it. Meanwhile,  I've got an old off-brand generator from Northern Tool that got me though Rita years ago -- two weeks solid without a hiccup  (336 hours?).  Last year, when it looked like we were in the path of another hurricane, I pulled it out and tested it.  It fired right up, after sitting in a corner of my garage since 2005.  Sure wish I could figure out how to fit it into that Onan space!

On the bright side, I discovered a great little park in Marianna, FL -- "Stay and Go".  Great internet and brand new hookups on a concrete pad for $40!

Blue... as rosanne rosanadana says, it’s always something.  Were in Oklahoma and on the way here the slide canopy came apart blowing in the wind. We had to stop and cut it off.  Dang sun ate it up. Going to call PC in the morning , hoping they have one in stock. Oh and the fridge stopped working to it’s full potential.  Dang norcold is a love hate relationship.

Still we’re  glad to be on the road, our home  area hit 121 today.

FYI... RV shops can replace just the fabric or update the fabric to be metal covered like the passenger side awning.  I know because large hail, among other things, got our slide topper fabric too, and the shop is in the process of upgrading it to the metal cover when the slide is closed.

PC no longer handles dometic slide toppers.  Heavier fabric
after market runs 150-160 delivered.
