What size hose is the 70374 Thetford sanicon ?

Looks like My Thetford Sanicon 70374 has been discontinued for a newer model 70400

I need to repair the hose but I am not sure what size the hose diamiter is. Looks like it is a one a 1" inch diameter but could be a 1-1/4 inch. I can not seem to find any info in the web on the correct size. for this 70374 model

 I have a leak near the hand wand discharge port and was thinking about replacing the entire hose but not sure the new model 70400 Thetford Sewer Hose Nozzle will fit

Just replaced hose on my 2012 2552 for same reason.  Mine is 1 inch

The sanicon hose in my 2007 developed a tiny pin hole.  As I recall, it is close to the macerator.  I was thinking of cutting off the bad and live with a shorter hose.

Once you are all good again, I would like to know what you bought, what you paid, and where you bought it.

$70? Wow!  I will first try my idea of cutting off the bad section.  It does seem to be the lowest available price.  Thanks for sharing that.

Got mine on Amazon, too.  Same price.  7 ft & expands to 21 ft.

I have a pin hole near the outflow wand nozzle that hooks to the RV park sewer connection. It had been patched with some gorilla duck tape once before. So Im thinking of getting a new out flow wand nozzle but was concerned about the new outflow nozzles not fitting on the 1" hose . when I get the parts I will update ... thanks for all the input

My Thetford hose developed a leak near the attachment to turbo discharge.  I used this silicone tape https://www.acehardware.com/departments/plumbing/solvents-and-cements/plumbers-putty-and-sealers/4387437
a little over 3 years ago.  Just in case, I acquired a replacement hose but so far it has not been needed.

I have repaired many hoses, such as the hose on my pump sprayer, with silicone tape aka rescue tape or Bubba tape.  I have also used it to repair a leaking water line in a previous motorhome.  It is pliable, can cut to size, stretches,  and easy to use and will only stick to itself.   I highly recommend it and there is no doubt it will permanently repair a small leak in the Sanicon hose.

You got me thinking that maybe all I need is a dab of silicone caulk to seal the pin hole that my 2007 sanicon hose developed.

Ron, nothing wrong with being frugal!  Another idea might be flex seal, I’ve never used it or even know the cost or if it works. Just throwing it out there
