All my rods are one piece. Just had to go to BASS PRO and buy a 2 piece.  Even at that still a little shorter than what I’m used to, but now will fit in back of closet.

In our 2552 we store them in the rear closet. I use Du-Bro fishing rod holders I bought on amazon. You get two or three pair of holders for around 10 bucks.

I am not a fisherman, but I always thought the #1 storage area was in the rear outdoor storage compartment.

A lot of other RV owners store their poles in storage tubes, mounted under the rig or on top of their rear bumper.  My storage tube is mounted here, but it stores my gravity drain sewage tube as my back-up in-case my sanicon ever failed during a trip.

If you are talking fly rods you could put a carrier underneath or on the roof. If it is just one or two fly rods I might try to velcro them to the ceiling inside the coach.
Or get a Popiel's Pocket Fisherman! roflol

We don't fish but years back I read posts on the forum about storing fishing poles. Earlier rigs have carpeted ceilings and you can Velcro poles to it. Also someone put command cord bundlers in the rear bin for poles https://www.walmart.com/ip/Command-Cord-Bundlers-White-2-Bundlers-3-Strips-Pack/13174062. We use one in our front cabinet to hold the cable for our cell phone booster antenna. Lots of cable so antenna can be moved as needed. Lots off cable is a mess so this bundler saves the day and is easy to open and slip closed again. It's been in use seven years now without issue.

There’s a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot !

In my case with my luck at fishing I guess I’d fall under the latter part of that quote. I carry poles but I don’t think I’ve pulled them out more than a couple times in 4 years.

I only take my two piece rods in the PC - broken down if I go with a buddy.  If I'm by myself, I leave the rigged, and on the corner bed.
