RV cover
« on: April 07, 2020, 12:23:43 pm »
Hello!  Bought a 2016 2351 last July and am hoping to buy a cover.  Had looked at Classic Accessories line on Amazon as they say for B+ but in measuring I found its not wide enough.  Any advice would be very welcome!!

Hi Kathleen, welcome to the forum!

I can't help directly with cover advice from personal experience, but--one suggestion.  I don't know whether you have ever used the forum search function, but there have been several discussions of RV covers for Phoenix models--some fairly recent.

If you will click on the search icon in the upper right hand corner and enter some relevant search terms (even "cover" should work), I think you will get some results that may help.

Best of luck, and--again--welcome!

Mike

The Goldline from National Covers is a great product IMHO and experience.

Kathleen,  my second motorhome was a brand new 1996 34J Bounder.  I was very proud of it.  I bought a cover and here was what I discovered.  It was a royal pain to spread over the Bounder.  Granted, the Bounder was a bit longer and considerably taller.  Maybe you are wanting a cover to store during the winter, non-traveling months?  Also, the cover needs to be tight over and around the PC.  Wind can cause the cover to flap and rub against paint and other surfaces.  Just my two cents.  Good luck and get some bugs on that windshield.

Cheers  :)(:

I second Goldline.  I covered my 2551 this past winter and was happy with it.  I bought some good clips at Harbor Freight to hold it down better so it didn’t flap.  Also added belt around windshield to tighten it in front.  Had a yoga ball placed within rear luggage rack to allow water to drain better.  Worked like a champ.
