RV Covers

We own a 2011 Model 3100.  We spend time in Florida at our home while our RV is parked/stored nearby.  Do any of you have any experience with the RV Covers like Camping World sells.  We'd like to protect our paint job from the intense sun while it is parked in storage.  Any comments or ideas?

We had the same dilemma. We live in Florida and keep the PC at a storage facility. We didn't want the full body paint to get damaged by the sun so we went out and bought a cover.

After talking to folks about covering the motorhome, we decided that it would be better not to cover.

We were told that if the cover is not tied correctly, the fabric could scratch the finish in a heavy wind. So, the cover is in our garage--never taken out of the box! Tried to sell it at a good price but no takers.

Have either of you looked into indoor storage?  I am sure it's costly, but if it's only for a portion of the year, it may be worth the expense to protect your investment.

We keep our 2007 indoors when not traveling, and it really does still look brand new.  Even the roof caulk stays clean and soft.

Where we live it is about $200 per month.

I bought one for a motorhome (not the Cruiser though) tried it on and sent it back to CampingWorld, no problems with the return.  Added $1800 to the price of the cover and had a pole barn built, 14'Hx14'Wx36'L. Never have been sorry about the outcome of either.
