2nd go on turn signal camera
« on: February 05, 2020, 06:19:29 pm »
No luck with previous post.  On a sticker on the right side turn signal camera MADE IN CHINA (duh) ,3500R(it is on the right side) and 12461.  A search on the last number finds a carburetor.  So does anybody have something like this and know the brand name?

No, not really.  Looked at lots of these, but looks most like an older furrion brand.  Everything that I see for furrion now has a turn signal built into it.  Mine does not.  Mainly looking for wiring diagram.  Bout got to take the dash apart to get to the multiplexer.  I’ve removed the front seats to re-upholstery that awful vinyl that is peeling, so will give me a little better access under dash.

Op again.  Got under dash and retrieved the multi Plexer , Brand name “connexx 150-01.  Switched L/R camera inputs and problem moved.  So not cameras.  Found a sticker for River Park located in Elkhart on some of the wiring.    Quick phone call seems to determine bad multi plexer.  New one ($45.) will be here Monday.  Hopefully that fixes it.  Helps a lot when working under the dash that the seats are out.  Got 10 yds of material today to recover the front seats.

Hello
I am attaching a picture of my right turn signal camera, the paper work I have lists mine as made by Convoy, 3500M Surface Mount Side Camera,,1/4” CMOS Chipset, IP66 Environmental Rating,
7G Shock Rating, Night Vision, 1 Year Warranty. Not sure if this is what you are looking for?  Hope this helps

That’s it!  Found those on the River Park site above.  There are 2 little holes on the top and bottom.  Wondering if those are pry points to pop the camera off it’s base.  Hadn’t found those instructions yet.  Narrowed down that both cameras work, waiting on a new multi plexer .

So it looks like the front cover pops off, remove 2 screws, then pop off the big cover?

That is how I see it as well.  I have never pulled mine off.  One question where actually was the Multi=-Plexer located under the dash?  Just wondering if I have issues where to go looking for it.

Have to take the dog house off.  Lay on your back and look up behind the dash, a little to the drivers side.  A black box about the size of a deck of cards.  Bunch of wires and coax going into it.  Mine was tie wrapped to a wire bundle and hard to clip off the tie wrapped off.  This was installed before the dash was affixed.  River Park was half the price of the next vendor.

Thanks for the information, I always like to know where to go looking to find all this stuff they tuck away.  I have 4 fuses ty-wrapped up under the dash that I just saw by chance. I believe they have to do with the radio and navigation system. I wish they would have supplied a wiring diagram so you could at least know where to go to find stuff. Instead you have to trace wires to find anything adding hours to find what your looking for. Hope the Multi-Plexer fixes your issue.
