Update the spots they patched were not the problem we still have water coming in the rig. Campers Inn has been in contact with PC but are telling me they are not helping them. They have an RV bodyshop coming in tomorrow and want me to talk to them on what the plan is to fix the leak...ooooooh noo why isn't PC helping me.....should I be scared of what they are going to tell me. Sorry but first time RV owner and struggling that PC won't help find the issue.

Jeff,

They are waiting for approval from PC then sending it to a body shop up the street who has a lot of experience with RV's. I talked to him today and he described his plan. one thing I asked for was a pressure test which he said he does a smoke test which he feels is better. He wants to replace a lot of the molding and reseal the whole outside which he said wasn't done very well. It's up to PC now if they approve it. Also he want to replace the inside panel where the water has been coming in as he feels it is now damaged from the water.

Thats where my leak was on the right side. The outside molding that covered the seam between the wall panel and the bottom valence outside. It would leak in and end up in the step area after flowing on the floor.

Frank: Did he actually locate the source of the leak already?  Or are they proposing to change a lot of things before  the leak tests? Just wondering what PC response will be to a company that is trying to hit the problem with a sledge hammer when it might be a very small issue. Hopefully they took some pictures to back up their claims that things were done poorly. Otherwise I'm not sure PC will take them seriously.

Either way, I really hope they come up with a speedy, effective and permanent solution for you.

When I picked up my 2552 I crawled around on the roof and found a couple of areas around the shower skylight that looked like they might become problematic. The tech Bobby at the factory went right up and repaired the two bubbles I found. So far have not found any leaks, fingers crossed. (for both of us)

Jim,

They plan on doing the smoke test first to find the source of the leak then go from there.
